The front of the first page in the journal will be your cover page. Put your name, Science, and the year on this page. You may decorate the rest of this page as you desire.

The back of the first page in the journal will be the first page of the Table of Contents. Number it from 1-25 down the left-hand margin. Make sure you start on the very top line so that you are assured of having 25 entries on this page.

The front of the second page in the journal will be the second page of the Table of Contents. Number it from 26-50 down the left-hand margin. Make sure you start on the very top line so that you are assured of having 25 entries on this page.

The back of the second page in the journal will be the third page of the Table of Contents. Number it from 51-75 down the left-hand margin. Make sure you start on the very top line so that you are assured of having 25 entries on this page.

The front of the third page in the journal will be the fourth page of the Table of Contents. Number it from 76-100 down the left-hand margin. Make sure you start on the very top line so that you are assured of having 25 entries on this page.

You will now assign page numbers to the rest of the pages in the journal:

Page numbers will go on the top right of the front (right-hand side) pages only; we will consider both sides as a single page in the remainder of the journal.

Place the number just inside the right-hand margin at the very top of the right-hand page.

Page number “1” will actually be the front (right-hand side) of the fourth page in the Journal.
