Distributive Property Warm-Up Activities

If your class number is odd (e.g. 201, 405, 711 et c.):

  • Write a definition of the distributive property on a piece of poster paper.
  • Look up the prefixes “sub” and “homo” in your glossary and be prepared to discuss their meanings.
  • Look up the meaning of the Latin abbreviations “i.e.” and “e.g.”

If your class number is even (e.g. 202, 406, 712 et c.):

  • Create a visual example of the application of the distrubtive property on a piece of poster paper.
  • Look up the prefixes “sub” and “homo” in your glossary and be prepared to discuss their meanings.
  • Look up the meaning of the Latin abbreviations “i.e.” and “e.g.”
